I didn’t realize you replied about Reform, I saw your replies to Eliot just by chance last night. When you reply to Eliot directly, only he is notified. I don’t get notified.
I'll start by giving a few of my thoughts. Keep in mind I'm American and new to following UK politics. I'm politically conservative.
Lowering taxes seems beneficial at this time for individuals and businesses to function in this economy. Also, Reform has detected areas to lower the cost of gov't - ex. lower bank interest paid and net zero changes.
I think it's good to have a study on the Covid vaccines, there have been many questions, so respectable reviews are needed.
Zero tolerance policing. In regard to addressing small crimes = helps the community, helps the person change their behavior before it moves on to worse.
Nigel spoke of wanting to help people on welfare have a smoother time going back to work, by not having taxes affect their 'just starting out' income. For each new person that is able to work, the benefit will be to the individual, to government and to the country.
There’s more that needs to be looked into and checked with Reform’s policies. It’s good that people are asking questions, the more questions, the better. Adjustments to Reform's policies can be made w/time to make them more suitable. I think Reform is headed in the right direction.
I find myself in an unusual position. Birnam of parents who left school at 14 and 15, had no academic qualifications between them, a father who was a carpenter and a mother who worked in kitchens or bars all her life have no hope in this new gvt. I attended local state school, had a grant for university and I've worked since then almost exclusively in public service in one form or another. I have no faith or hope in this new gvt. Not that I miss the tories either. People like Mitchell and Green oozed hate and seething contempt for people like me. Cameron and Osborne loathed peasants like me. May and Truss just ignored and revilled people like me. Now I'm expected to prostate myself before this bunch, who just as tribal and bigoted as the tories. Rayner as Dep PM, ffs, really. She is thick as chips, small minded and has no ability to think. Lammy as Foreign Sec is frankly embarrassing. The man is a buffoon. And that's being kind. Starmer is a deluded fool who thinks by being nice to people he can change things. He makes Atlee look charismatic, at least Atlee served in wartime and realised the world is full of danger and trickery. If I wasn't an atheist I would plead for devine inspiration and help.
No, Farage is pro-UK first. All he said about Putin was that a move by NATO to broaden was going to trigger Putin. He wasn't defending Putin's actions; he was predicting them.
I don't know the timing/rationale on recent NATO additions, that's something I would need to look into.
Nato didn't broaden. Ukraine wanted to join nato. To defend itself from Russia. Who BTW signed a pact of treaty when ukraine surrenderd its coldwar legacy nuclear weapons. No one triggered putin but putin. And don't bother replying if you disagree.
Lower fuel duty by 20p a litre...cost ?
Note: I summarized my answers to your questions in my reply to your 4th question listed below.
Raising starting income threshold to £20k. How much would that cost?

Give Reform some attention as time goes along, listen/watch and see what they say/do.
Also, there's no law that says once you're an atheist that you have to stay an atheist.
I'm an atheist by choice and conviction. Reform simple easy fix solutions are nonsense.
What is an example of a simple easy fix solution that Reform is proposing?
Farage is pro Putin. That IMHO is verging on treason and reason alone to brick the little weasel up in a wall.

I appreciate your reply. This is something I do need to look into more.
Vaccine harms public inquiry....anti vaxx quackery
Zero tolerance policing. That means leaving ECHR and abolishing HRA
