William Jennings Bryan was Secretary of State under President Woodrow Wilson from 1913 to 1915. In relation to Leopold I of Belgium, I'm surprised you didn't mention that he had been married to Princess Charlotte, only (legitimate) child of the Prince Regent (the future George IV) which made her second in line to the British Throne. Unfortunately, she died in childbirth along with their child approximately 18 months after their marriage. This unfortunate event resulted in George III's other sons flocking to Germany to seek out eligible Princesses in hopes of begetting an heir.
